Next Rehearsal: Sunday, 7/23 @ 7:00 p.m.

Dear Choral Union,
Are you as excited as I am to be half-way through the rehearsal process? We've accomplished SO much valuable learning in only four rehearsals, and I fully expect to hear some dramatic leaps forward on our repertoire during our upcoming meetings together. You should all be proud of the work done so far! Hooray!

For Sunday's rehearsal, we will be reviewing several of the difficult passages from the last rehearsal -- many of which were the MOST difficult in all of our repertoire (thanks for hanging in there!) In addition to the review, we will focus on the following pieces:

1. Swell the Full Chorus
2. Swimming to the Other Side
3. Agnus Dei
4. My Soul Is a River
5. Distant Land
   

The Union had a rollicking good time last night at the Irish Snug (thanks again for the suggestion, Melody!) It makes me so happy to see how many of you are embracing the social-community atmosphere of the Choral Union. This Sunday following rehearsal, we'll be venturing into Cherry Creek North for gelato, espresso, panini, and other Italianate yumminess at Gelato d'Italia Cafe (located at 250 Detroit St. between 2nd & 3rd Ave.) Gelato d'Italia is one of my personal favorite spots in Cherry Creek, especially when I'm craving gelato (Italian ice cream) and coffee! Plus, they're open late (until 11:00 p.m. on Sunday).
